Magic's Key Players Shine


Franz Wagner led the charge for Orlando with an outstanding performance that included scoring 31 points and securing 11 rebounds. His efficiency on the court was unmatched, contributing significantly to the team's success. Wagner wasn't alone in his efforts; Jalen Suggs also made significant contributions with 19 points and seven rebounds. Moritz Wagner added another layer of strength to the team's lineup by putting up 14 points and grabbing four rebounds.


Orlando demonstrated superior defensive skills by outrebounding Philadelphia with a total of 53 rebounds compared to Philadelphia’s 40. This defensive prowess was further underscored by Orlando managing six blocks throughout the game, showcasing their ability to shut down scoring opportunities for Philadelphia.


Philadelphia’s Efforts Not Enough


Despite their best efforts, including leading at times during the match and achieving a fast break percentage of over sixty percent which contributed to their total of twenty-three fast break points, Philadelphia could not maintain control against Orlando’s robust gameplay. Joel Embiid from Philadelphia led his team with effort but ultimately fell short against Orlando’s cohesive defense and strategic plays.
