Orlando Magic's Valiant Effort Falls Short Against Golden State Warriors

The Orlando Magic, with a record of 24-27, faced off against the Golden State Warriors, who came into the game with a 25-24 record. Despite a hard-fought battle, the Magic fell to the Warriors with a final score of 99-104.

Magic's Performance Highlights


The game showcased Orlando Magic's resilience and determination. The team led for 24 minutes and had an impressive biggest lead of 11 points during the match. Their offensive efforts were notable, scoring 52 points in the paint out of their total 99 points. The team also capitalized on turnovers, scoring 14 points off turnovers.


Cole Anthony stood out for the Magic with his remarkable performance. He scored a team-high of 26 points and contributed significantly with three assists and five rebounds. His efficiency on the court was evident as he shot at an impressive rate from both inside and outside the arc.


Franz Wagner also made significant contributions to Orlando's effort with his all-around play. Scoring 21 points along with five assists showed his versatility on offense. His defensive efforts were just as valuable, adding two steals to his stat line.


Warriors' Counterattack


On the other side, Golden State Warriors demonstrated their prowess by overcoming an early deficit to secure victory at home. They managed to take control in key moments of the game which ultimately led them to outscore Orlando in crucial quarters.


The Warriors excelled in converting free throws opportunities by making 24 out of their total attempts which played a pivotal role in their win against Orlando Magic.
