Can Orlando Magic's Paint Dominance Challenge Boston Celtics' Defense?

Magic's Offensive Highlights


Orlando's offensive efforts were spearheaded by Paolo Banchero, who delivered an impressive performance with 32 points and 9 rebounds. His ability to penetrate the paint was evident as he shot an efficient 48 percent from the field. Franz Wagner also contributed significantly with his all-around play, scoring 25 points and adding four assists and four rebounds to his tally.


The Magic excelled in scoring within the paint, accumulating a total of 46 points from inside shots. Their two-point shooting percentage stood at an impressive 60 percent, highlighting their effectiveness near the basket. Wendell Carter Jr.'s contribution was notable as well; he scored 16 points while maintaining a high shooting accuracy of 75 percent.

Despite these efforts, Orlando struggled beyond the arc with only seven successful three-pointers out of twenty-nine attempts—resulting in a modest three-point shooting percentage of just over twenty-four percent.


Celtics' Defensive Resilience


On defense, Boston proved formidable by limiting Orlando’s fast-break opportunities effectively—allowing only five fast-break points throughout four quarters—and forcing seven turnovers which they converted into ten crucial points off turnovers themselves.
