Second Quarter

As the second quarter unfolded, the Knicks began to find their rhythm. They outscored the Magic by ten points, bringing their total to 38 for this period while limiting Orlando to just 28 points. Paolo Banchero tried to keep pace with his performance on both ends of the court but struggled against New York's defensive pressure.

Third Quarter

In the third quarter, both teams matched each other point for point with each scoring 28 points. Desmond Bane provided some much-needed support for Orlando by adding crucial assists and rebounds during this period. However, despite these efforts from key players like Wendell Carter Jr., who maintained high shooting efficiency at 67 percent from field goals in previous games, it wasn't enough to close the gap created earlier.

Fourth Quarter

The final quarter saw another consistent performance from both sides as they again scored equally at 28 points apiece. Despite Anthony Black's defensive contributions and Jonathan Isaac's presence on rebounds and blocks throughout previous games being noteworthy aspects of their playstyle; ultimately it was not sufficient against a well-coordinated Knicks team that finished strong.
