First Quarter

The game began with a slow start for the Sixers as they only managed to score 18 points compared to the Cavs' impressive 33. The Land's defense was particularly effective, limiting Philadelphia's offensive opportunities and setting an early tone for dominance.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, Philadelphia attempted to close the gap by scoring 29 points. Tyrese Maxey contributed significantly with his playmaking abilities, adding four assists alongside his scoring efforts. However, Cleveland maintained their lead by adding another 27 points through efficient shooting from beyond the arc.

Third Quarter

As play resumed after halftime, Joel Embiid led an aggressive push for Philadelphia with a notable performance that included scoring and defensive plays. Despite this effort and contributions from players like Andre Drummond on rebounds (9 total), Cleveland matched their first-quarter output with another strong showing of 33 points.

Fourth Quarter

The final quarter saw an energized Sixers squad attempting a comeback by putting up their highest-scoring quarter of 32 points. Justin Edwards showcased his shooting prowess during this period but was unable to overcome Cleveland's relentless attack which culminated in them dropping an impressive fourth-quarter tally of 40 points.

Despite valiant efforts from key players such as Paul George who scored consistently throughout each period and Quentin Grimes contributing defensively with steals (1) and rebounds (5), what went wrong for Philadelphia was evident in their inability to contain Cleveland’s offensive surge across all quarters.
