Phoenix Suns Face Off Against New Orleans Pelicans in New Orleans Showdown

As the Phoenix Suns prepare to face off against the New Orleans Pelicans at the Smoothie King Center, fans can anticipate an intense NBA matchup. The Suns, coming off a recent string of games, have shown both resilience and areas for improvement that will be critical in their upcoming game.

In their last encounter with the Boston Celtics, the Suns fell short with 98 points against a dominant 125. Despite this loss, they demonstrated a strong bench performance contributing 54 points and showed tenacity by outscoring Boston in the final quarter. However, turnovers were an issue as they gave up possession 18 times.

Prior to that game, Phoenix faced a tough challenge against Dallas Mavericks where they scored 111 points but allowed a staggering 130. The team's field goal percentage stood at 44 percent and three-point shooting was modest at around 35 percent. Their defense struggled as evidenced by Dallas' high offensive output.

However, not all recent trends are negative for Phoenix. In their game before Dallas', they delivered an impressive performance against San Antonio Spurs with a commanding victory of 133-95. They showcased efficient shooting from both inside and beyond the arc – over half of their three-point attempts found the net – and displayed excellent ball movement with a total of 38 assists.

The venue could play its part; playing away from home always adds an extra layer of difficulty due to unfamiliar surroundings and lack of home support which might influence player performance.

Looking ahead to their next game on December 10th at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, LA (zip code:70113), fans can catch all action live on BSAZ network channel number:686 or attend in person for what promises to be an exciting contest between two competitive teams eager for victory.
