The Suns have shown a mixed bag of results in their recent outings. In their last game against the Los Angeles Lakers, they secured a convincing victory with 127 points over the Lakers' 109. This win was marked by an impressive offensive display where they led for nearly the entire game and boasted a field goal percentage of 50 percent while sinking an outstanding 91 percent from the free-throw line.

However, this victory followed a tough loss to the LA Clippers where defensive lapses saw them concede 138 points. Despite shooting at an efficient rate from both field (49 percent) and free-throw lines (86 percent), it wasn't enough to counteract their defensive shortcomings that night.

In another recent matchup against Memphis Grizzlies, despite leading for most of the game and having a higher lead margin than in previous games, they fell short by just six points in a high-scoring affair that ended with 121-115 on the scoreboard.

The Suns' performance has been characterized by strong offensive stats but fluctuating defense. They've demonstrated an ability to score effectively inside paint as well as from beyond-the-arc although consistency remains an issue. With these trends in mind, fans can anticipate another high-scoring game when they visit Portland.
