Analyzing past games data reveals that the Suns have been struggling with consistency. With a record standing at 15 wins and 15 losses after their last game against the Dallas Mavericks, where they scored 114 points but allowed 128 points against them, it's clear that defense has been an issue. Despite putting up a strong fight with a total of 57 rebounds and scoring efficiency from fast breaks (66 percent), turnovers and defensive lapses led to their downfall.

In their previous match before facing the Mavericks, while visiting Sacramento Kings' Golden 1 Center, Phoenix managed to score only 105 points compared to Sacramento's commanding performance of 120 points. The team showed strength in paint scoring with a high percentage (58 percent) but struggled from beyond the arc hitting just 20 percent of three-point attempts.

Earlier still in Portland against Trail Blazers, Phoenix scored slightly lower with just over half of their field goals made (44.7 percent), resulting in a close loss by five points (104-109). Their offensive production was notable in terms of paint dominance where they scored most efficiently (65 percent).

The upcoming game presents an opportunity for Phoenix to tighten up defensively and convert possessions into more effective scoring opportunities. Fans should look out for how well the team can control turnovers and maintain pressure on both ends of the court.
