The Suns have had a rollercoaster ride in their past few outings. Their most recent game against the Dallas Mavericks ended in a 114-128 loss despite an impressive offensive display that saw them score 114 points with an effective field goal percentage of 52 percent. However, defensive woes were evident as they allowed 128 points with their opponents shooting at an effective field goal percentage of 63 percent.

In another encounter, Phoenix faced off against the Sacramento Kings and again found themselves on the losing end with a scoreline of 105-120. The Suns managed to put up solid numbers in terms of points in paint (58) and bench contributions (40), but it wasn't enough to secure victory as they struggled defensively, allowing Sacramento to shoot at an effective field goal percentage of 60 percent.

Earlier against the Portland Trail Blazers, Phoenix narrowly lost by five points (104-109). They led for over half the game thanks to strong performances inside with 62 points in paint but ultimately couldn't hold onto their lead due to turnovers and missed opportunities from beyond the arc where they shot just 22 percent.

These results have left fans concerned about consistency on both ends of the floor. As they head into enemy territory at Chase Center—a venue known for its raucous atmosphere—the Suns will need heightened focus and execution if they hope to come out on top against a formidable Warriors squad.
