The Suns have shown a mixed bag of performances in their recent outings. Despite a strong start against the Mavericks with 24 points in Q1 and an impressive 38-point surge in Q3, they ultimately fell short with a final score of 114-128. Their offensive efforts were notable, boasting an 80 percent free throw completion rate and securing 57 total rebounds. However, turnovers proved costly as they gave up possession 16 times.

In their away game against Sacramento Kings, Phoenix struggled to maintain control throughout. They managed only brief leads and succumbed to a 105-120 defeat. The team's efficiency was lower than desired; although they scored well from two-point range (54 percent), their three-point attempts were lacking with just a fifth finding their mark.

Their encounter with Portland Trail Blazers showed promise early on as they led by as much as 16 points but eventually lost grip ending at 104-109. The Suns' defense was more effective here, limiting Portland's scoring opportunities inside the paint.

Looking ahead to facing Detroit Pistons at home provides an opportunity for redemption and showcasing resilience after these tough losses. The key will be capitalizing on scoring chances while tightening up defensively to avoid giving away easy points.
