In a high-scoring affair at the Moda Center, the Phoenix Suns outlasted the Portland Trail Blazers with a final score of 127-116. The Suns improved their season record to 21-18, while the Trail Blazers fell further behind with a record of 10-29.

The game was marked by an impressive offensive display from both teams. The Suns shot an outstanding 60 percent from the field and an impressive 46 percent from beyond the arc. They also excelled at free throws, making 22 out of their 27 attempts for an accuracy rate of approximately 82 percent. Their efficiency on offense was evident as they led for over half an hour and achieved their biggest lead of 17 points.

The Trail Blazers were not far behind in terms of scoring prowess, putting up a notable fight throughout all four quarters. They managed to convert on nearly half their field goal attempts with a shooting percentage close to 45 percent and were particularly effective from three-point range, hitting nearly half their shots for about a remarkable rate of approximately 48 percent.

One area where the Trail Blazers shone was second-chance points; they capitalized on opportunities by scoring an impressive total of 25 points following offensive rebounds. This hustle demonstrated their tenacity despite trailing in other statistical categories such as overall rebounds where they collected just two fewer than Phoenix's total count.

Defensively, both teams had moments to shine but ultimately struggled to contain each other's scorers. The Suns blocked five shots and made seven steals while drawing more fouls than Portland did which translated into additional free throw opportunities that helped them maintain control over the scoreboard.

For fans looking forward to seeing how Portland can bounce back after this defeat, there is another opportunity just around the corner when they host Brooklyn Nets at Moda Center on January 17th at around seven o'clock in the evening local time (Pacific Time Zone). Fans can catch all action live as it will be broadcasted locally on ROOT Sports NW channel number six hundred eighty-seven or watch along with away supporters through YES network channel six hundred thirty-one.
