In their most recent game against the Memphis Grizzlies, Portland showcased tenacity by pushing the match into overtime. Despite being outscored in three quarters, they rallied back with an impressive 34 points in the fourth quarter and secured a win with 107 points against Memphis's 100. This victory was marked by significant contributions from the bench, which added 43 points to the total score.

However, consistency remains an issue for Portland as evidenced by their performance over several games. Just before facing Memphis, they had a commanding win over that same team with a score of 122-92. That game highlighted Portland's offensive prowess as they led for over thirty-five minutes and boasted an efficient field goal percentage of fifty-nine percent.

Yet this upswing was preceded by a loss to Miami Heat where despite leading for thirty minutes and having fifteen-point advantage at one point during the game, they couldn't hold on and fell short with ninety-six points against Miami's one hundred six.

The upcoming game presents another opportunity for Portland to capitalize on home-court advantage at Moda Center—a venue known for its vibrant atmosphere that often energizes home players while adding pressure on visitors.
