The Portland Trail Blazers, with a record of 2-5, faced off against the Phoenix Suns, who boasted a 5-1 record, in an intense game that ended with the Trail Blazers scoring 97 points to the Suns' 103. Despite a valiant effort that saw the Trail Blazers outscore the Suns in the final quarter, it wasn't enough to secure a win.

Suns Shine Through


On the opposing side, The Suns demonstrated why they are one of the top teams this season by maintaining control for most of the game with their time leading totaling nearly forty minutes. They showcased their defensive skills by blocking eight shots while also managing four steals against Portland.


Their offense was facilitated through effective passing which resulted in twenty-nine assists across team members. The home team capitalized on second-chance opportunities scoring fourteen points from such plays while also making seventeen three-pointers out of fifty-two attempts.
