Pelicans' Efforts Overshadowed

Despite trailing behind for most of the match, The Pelicans had moments where they shone through. They initially led by up to 14 points and managed to keep possession effectively throughout most of the game. However, they struggled to contain Portland's offensive onslaught and could not maintain their early momentum into later quarters.

The home team saw contributions across its roster but couldn't match Portland's scoring depth or defensive tenacity. Their efforts were highlighted by making half of their second-chance attempts resulting in 16 points but ultimately fell short against a determined Trail Blazers team.
