First Quarter

The game began with an explosive start from the home team. The Grizzlies took control early, scoring 40 points in the first quarter alone. The Blazers struggled to keep pace, managing only 20 points despite Jerami Grant's efforts on both ends of the court.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, both teams scored evenly with each adding 26 points to their totals. Portland's Shaedon Sharpe contributed significantly by hitting all his three-point attempts and maintaining a perfect free throw percentage. However, turnovers continued to plague Rip City’s performance.

Third Quarter

The third quarter saw a resurgence from Portland as they outscored Memphis 32-26. Deni Avdija showcased his versatility by contributing across multiple stat lines including rebounds and assists. Despite this effort, defensive lapses allowed Memphis to maintain their lead.

Fourth Quarter

In the final quarter, Memphis sealed their victory by outscoring Portland once again with a scoreline of 27-18. The Grizzlies’ bench played a pivotal role throughout this period contributing heavily to their overall tally of bench points which stood at an impressive number compared to that of Rip City's reserves.

Overall analysis reveals that while individual performances such as those from Jerami Grant and Shaedon Sharpe were commendable for Portland; team dynamics like turnovers (totaling up to 26) hindered any chance for comeback against an efficient opponent who capitalized on fast breaks effectively - scoring more than double what was achieved by Rip City during these transitions according "Portland Trail Blazers vs Memphis Grizzlies recap".
