Second Quarter


In the second quarter, the momentum shifted slightly as the Silver and Black tightened their defense. The Spurs managed to close the gap by scoring 27 points compared to Portland's 20. Despite this push from San Antonio, Deni Avdija's playmaking ability kept Rip City competitive, ensuring they maintained a narrow lead going into halftime.


Third Quarter


The third quarter saw both teams exchanging baskets in a closely contested battle. Donovan Clingan stood out for Rip City with his impressive rebounding and scoring efficiency, contributing to Portland's 32-point effort in this period. Meanwhile, San Antonio continued their pursuit with Keldon Johnson leading their charge but still trailed by six points heading into the final stretch.


Fourth Quarter


In an intense fourth quarter at Frost Bank Center, Rip City's resilience shone through as they sealed their victory over San Antonio with a decisive performance. The Blazers scored 28 points while holding off a late surge from the home team who managed only one more point than them during this period. This win improved Portland's record to 16-20 while dropping San Antonio to 25-10.
