First Quarter

The opening quarter saw both teams exchanging baskets, but it was Memphis who took an early lead with a score of 36-25. The Grizzlies capitalized on their fast break opportunities and efficient shooting from beyond the arc to gain an advantage.

Second Quarter

Portland responded emphatically in the second quarter, outscoring Memphis by 15 points. Jerami Grant led Rip City's charge with his scoring prowess, contributing significantly to Portland's impressive tally of 43 points in this period alone. His efforts were complemented by Jrue Holiday's playmaking skills and Robert Williams III's defensive presence.

Third Quarter

The third quarter continued to favor Portland as they extended their lead further. Rayan Rupert made crucial contributions off the bench with his accurate shooting from three-point range. The Blazers' defense tightened up, limiting Memphis to just 23 points while they themselves scored an impressive 38.

Fourth Quarter

In the final quarter, both teams maintained high energy levels but it was too late for Memphis to mount a comeback against Rip City's formidable offense. Donovan Clingan dominated on rebounds which helped seal Portland’s victory despite some spirited plays from Grindhouse players trying to close down gaps.

Portland Trail Blazers coach post-game reaction highlighted satisfaction with his team's performance and emphasized maintaining this momentum moving forward into future games.
