First Quarter

The opening quarter saw the Nuggets take an early lead with a commanding performance, scoring 41 points compared to Rip City's 27. The Nugs capitalized on their offensive opportunities with efficient shooting and strong ball movement, setting an aggressive tone for the game.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, Denver maintained their momentum by matching their first-quarter output of 41 points. The Blazers struggled to keep pace despite efforts from players like Deni Avdija, who contributed significantly with his playmaking skills. However, turnovers and missed shots hindered Portland's ability to close the gap.

Third Quarter

The third quarter was another high-scoring affair for Denver as they added 43 points to their tally. Donovan Clingan stood out for Rip City with his solid rebounding and scoring presence in the paint. Yet, defensive lapses allowed Denver's shooters too much space on the perimeter.

Fourth Quarter

As fatigue set in during the final quarter, Portland managed only 18 points while trying to contain a relentless Nuggets offense that scored another 32 points. Jerami Grant provided some defensive highlights but couldn't turn around what went wrong for Portland Trail Blazers throughout this matchup.

Despite individual efforts from players like Jrue Holiday and Toumani Camara contributing offensively and defensively respectively, it wasn't enough against a well-rounded performance by Denver.
