First Quarter

The game began with an explosive start from the Hawks, who quickly established dominance by scoring 44 points in the first quarter. The Blazers managed to put up 25 points but struggled to keep pace with Atlanta's aggressive offense. Donovan Clingan was notable for Rip City, contributing significantly on both ends of the court.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, Portland attempted to close the gap by adding 33 points to their tally. However, Atlanta maintained their momentum and added another 31 points. Jrue Holiday led Rip City's efforts with his efficient shooting and playmaking abilities.

Third Quarter

As play resumed after halftime, both teams continued their offensive efforts. The Blazers scored 27 points in this period but were unable to contain Atlanta's scoring spree as they added another 28 points. Matisse Thybulle showcased his defensive prowess with multiple blocks during this stretch.

Fourth Quarter

The final quarter saw Portland struggle offensively, managing only 16 points compared to Atlanta's commanding addition of 32 points. Despite Jerami Grant's attempts to rally his team back into contention, it was not enough against a well-rounded performance from the Dirty Birds.

In this Portland Trail Blazers vs Atlanta Hawks match summary, it was evident that what went wrong for Portland Trail Blazers was their inability to counteract Atlanta’s fast-paced attack and strong defense throughout all four quarters.
