However, they quickly turned things around in the second quarter by adding an impressive 29 points to their tally and continued their momentum into the second half with consistent scoring—28 points in both remaining quarters. Their offensive efforts were bolstered by shooting at a remarkable seventy percent from two-point range and fifty-one percent overall from the field.


Sacramento's defense was just as formidable; they held their opponents to ninety-four points and managed ten steals throughout the game. The team's efficiency rating stood tall at one hundred twenty-two compared to Memphis's ninety-four. Notably, Sacramento capitalized on turnovers by scoring twenty-two points off them and dominated inside with fifty-six paint points.


The bench contributed significantly as well, chipping in twenty-six points towards this collective victory. Moreover, Sacramento led for eleven minutes and thirty-four seconds during which they established a nine-point lead—their biggest of the night.


On individual performances, it was teamwork that shone through for Sacramento as they racked up twenty-four assists over nineteen turnovers—an assists-turnover ratio of one point two six—and outrebounded Memphis fifty-six to forty-six overall.
