Kings' Offensive Onslaught

The Sacramento Kings' offense was on full display, with Zach LaVine leading all scorers with an astounding 42 points on an incredible 84 percent shooting from the field. His performance was complemented by DeMar DeRozan's versatile contribution of 18 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. The team's efficiency from beyond the arc was particularly noteworthy as they shot 53 percent from three-point range, contributing significantly to their total score.

Sacramento also excelled in fast-break points, tallying up to 31 thanks to their aggressive defense that translated into quick offense. Their ability to capitalize on turnovers was evident as they scored 30 points off turnovers. Moreover, their bench depth shone through with a significant contribution of 40 bench points.

Hornets Struggle to Keep Pace

On the other side of the court, Charlotte struggled offensively throughout the game. They managed only a field goal percentage of 35 percent and were particularly ineffective from beyond three-point range where they shot just 25 percent. Despite efforts from their bench contributing 24 points and drawing fouls effectively (75 percent free throw shooting), it wasn't enough to challenge Sacramento's lead at any point during this matchup.

The Hornets did manage some resistance in terms of steals (14) and assists (24), but these efforts were overshadowed by their inability to contain Sacramento’s dynamic offense or match it with consistent scoring runs.
