Kings Crown Hornets in Charlotte, Domantas Sabonis Leads with Double-Double

The Sacramento Kings emerged victorious against the Charlotte Hornets with a final score of 125-102 at Spectrum Center. This win improved the Kings' record to 37-40, while the Hornets fell to 19-58 for the season. The game showcased Sacramento's offensive efficiency and defensive prowess, leading them to dominate most of the match.

Key Performances and Game Highlights


Sacramento's success was driven by standout performances from several players. Domantas Sabonis led the team with a double-double, scoring 24 points and grabbing 11 rebounds, alongside seven assists. His performance was pivotal in establishing Sacramento's presence inside the paint and on both ends of the court. Zach LaVine also had an impressive night, contributing 25 points and securing another double-double with ten rebounds. LaVine's sharpshooting from beyond the arc (57 percent) stretched Charlotte's defense throughout the game.


The Kings showed their depth with significant contributions from their bench, adding 46 points to their total score. Their ability to maintain intensity offensively and defensively allowed them to build a commanding lead that reached up to 30 points at its peak.

Charlotte struggled against Sacramento’s aggressive defense but found some rhythm in fast break situations where they scored six points from such attempts. Despite this effort and outrebounding Sacramento with a total of 55 rebounds, they couldn't overcome their turnovers which led directly to ten points for Sacramento.
