First Quarter

The Sacramento Kings faced off against the Boston Celtics at TD Garden, with both teams looking to improve their records. The Kings entered the game with a 12-38 record, while the Celtics stood at 30-18. The first quarter saw an explosive start from the C's, who quickly established dominance by scoring 40 points compared to Sactown's 25. Despite efforts from players like Zach LaVine and Maxime Raynaud, who contributed significantly in rebounds and points respectively, the Kings struggled to keep pace.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, Boston continued their offensive onslaught by adding another 32 points to their tally. The Green Machine's defense was equally impressive as they limited Sactown to just 21 points during this period. Devin Carter tried to rally his team with strategic plays but found it challenging against Boston’s tight defense. By halftime, it was clear that Sacramento needed a significant shift in momentum if they were going to close the gap.

Third Quarter

The third quarter marked a slight improvement for Sacramento as they managed to outscore Boston by three points (20-17). This period highlighted some of Sactown’s potential as Malik Monk and Dennis Schröder made crucial contributions on both ends of the court. However, despite these efforts and improved defensive plays resulting in six blocks overall for Sacramento throughout the game, closing down on Boston’s lead remained an uphill battle.

Fourth Quarter

Heading into the final quarter trailing behind significantly did not deter Sactown's spirit. They put up a valiant effort scoring 27 points while holding Boston to just 23 in this segment of play - showcasing resilience especially from bench players who collectively added up impressive numbers contributing half of team's total score (50 bench points). Yet despite these efforts including strong free throw accuracy (91 percent), it wasn't enough as they fell short ending with a final scoreline review favoring Celtics:112-93.
