The bench played a crucial role in this victory for the Spurs as well; contributing fifty-three points to bolster their lead against Golden State. Their largest lead stretched to twenty-one points during playtime where they led for over forty-five minutes—a testament to their control over the game flow.

Golden State did not go down without a fight though—their resilience evident as they managed to tie up scores five times and change leads nine times throughout the match-up. They even boasted higher points in paint compared to San Antonio (fifty-eight versus forty-eight), but it wasn't enough to overcome San Antonio's offensive onslaught.
