Despite this strong offensive display, defense remains an area for improvement; they allowed 131 points against the Kings. The Spurs' efficiency rating was notable at 152 and they demonstrated excellent teamwork with 39 assists. Their bench also contributed significantly with 62 points.


In contrast, during their encounter with Houston Rockets just two games prior, the Spurs struggled offensively and defensively. They scored only 101 points and conceded 114 while shooting at a lower field goal percentage of 44 percent. Turnovers were also an issue as they gave up possession nineteen times.
