In their recent matchups, the Spurs have displayed a potent offense but struggled with consistency. A thrilling game against the Houston Rockets ended narrowly in defeat with a score of 101-103. The team's offensive prowess was evident as they led for over 25 minutes and outperformed the Rockets in points from paint (52) and second-chance points (20). However, turnovers proved costly as they gave up 19 points off these mistakes.

Another close contest saw them fall to the Golden State Warriors by just ten points (102-112). Once again, their ability to lead for significant portions of the game was overshadowed by defensive lapses that allowed too many points off turnovers. Despite this, there were positives: bench contributions stood out with 34 points and their fast-break efficiency was impressive at 80 percent success rate.

The most recent away victory against those same Warriors showcased what this Spurs team can achieve when firing on all cylinders - a high-scoring affair ending in a 126-113 win. Their offensive rating soared as they dominated time leading and capitalized on second-chance opportunities.

As we look ahead to facing the Suns, maintaining offensive efficiency while tightening up defense will be key. The venue could play its part; Frost Bank Center has been witness to some spirited performances from the home side this season.
