In their last encounter with the Golden State Warriors, the Spurs fell short by just four points in a high-scoring affair that ended 117-113. Their offensive efforts were commendable, with an effective field goal percentage of 54 percent and an impressive free throw percentage of 89 percent. However, turnovers were a concern as they gave up possession 19 times.

The following game saw an uplifting victory for the Spurs against the New York Knicks in overtime with a score of 130-126. This time, their shooting efficiency improved significantly to an effective field goal percentage of 63 percent and they maintained strong free throw performance at 81 percent. The team also demonstrated better ball control with fewer turnovers.

However, this upward trend was not sustained in their subsequent away game against Utah Jazz where they managed to secure a win with a seven-point margin (118-111). Despite this victory, ball handling remained an issue as they again recorded high turnover numbers.

The upcoming match against Detroit presents another opportunity for San Antonio to capitalize on their home court advantage and continue refining their gameplay. Consistency will be key for them; maintaining shooting accuracy while reducing turnovers could be decisive factors in securing another win.
