Spurs' Bench Shines


The Spurs demonstrated their depth with an impressive contribution from their bench, scoring 56 points. Keldon Johnson led the charge for San Antonio with 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds, shooting an efficient 71 percent from the field. His performance was complemented by Stephon Castle's all-around game, contributing 20 points and six assists despite a lower shooting percentage of 31 percent.


San Antonio's defense played a crucial role in their victory as well. They recorded two blocks and eleven steals, disrupting Toronto's offensive flow throughout the game. The team also excelled in fast-break situations, converting on six out of eleven attempts for sixteen fast break points.

Raptors' Efforts Fall Short


The Raptors started strong with back-to-back quarters scoring thirty-seven points each but struggled to maintain that momentum in the second half. Despite this setback, they managed to keep pace thanks to their three-point shooting accuracy of thirty-six percent and effective ball movement resulting in thirty-two assists.


Toronto's defense forced twelve turnovers from San Antonio but couldn't capitalize enough on these opportunities due to missed shots during critical moments late in quarters three and four when they were outscored significantly by seventeen points combined.
