First Quarter

The game kicked off with the Spurs taking an early lead, scoring an impressive 41 points in the first quarter. Their offensive prowess was evident as they capitalized on fast breaks and efficient shooting. Devin Vassell led the charge for the Silver and Black, showcasing his scoring ability right from the start.

Second Quarter

In contrast to their explosive start, the second quarter saw a dip in momentum for the Spurs as they managed only 18 points. The Nugs took advantage of this lull and responded with a robust offensive display of their own, putting up 41 points to close the gap significantly by halftime.

Third Quarter

The third quarter was pivotal for San Antonio as they regained control with another high-scoring effort of 44 points. Keldon Johnson played a crucial role during this period, contributing both offensively and defensively to help maintain their lead against Denver's persistent attacks.

Fourth Quarter

As tensions rose in the final quarter, both teams battled fiercely until the end. The Spurs managed to hold onto their narrow lead by adding another 36 points while effectively countering Denver's attempts to overtake them. Julian Champagnie's defensive efforts were instrumental during these critical moments.

Despite being out-rebounded by Denver (56 total rebounds), San Antonio's strategic playmaking and key contributions from players like Vassell ensured that they secured victory in this closely contested matchup.
