Despite trailing behind for most of the game, as indicated by their time leading being just over two minutes, Toronto displayed commendable teamwork with more assists than Milwaukee—28 compared to the latter's 25—and managed to draw more fouls as well.

However, it was not enough to overcome Milwaukee's sharpshooting and efficient ball movement that led them to lead for almost forty-four minutes during regulation time. Giannis Antetokounmpo led his team both in scoring and presence on court; his performance included several highlight-worthy plays that kept fans on edge throughout the night.

As for individual performances from Toronto players, they showed tenacity on defense with eight blocks and ten steals but struggled from three-point range making only nine out of thirty-three attempts—a mere twenty-seven percent success rate which contrasted sharply against Milwaukee’s proficiency from deep.
