Looking back at their past games, the Raptors have shown flashes of brilliance interspersed with periods of struggle. A tough loss against the Cavaliers highlighted some defensive shortcomings as they allowed 119 points while scoring 95 themselves. Despite this setback, they managed to bounce back in their next game against the Rockets with a narrow victory of 107-104, showcasing their ability to close out tight games.

The most recent outing for Toronto was an impressive offensive display on enemy territory against the Hornets. Scoring 123 points and securing a win by six points demonstrated that when firing on all cylinders, this team can compete with high-scoring offenses.

Statistically speaking, there's room for improvement in both ends of the court. The team's effective field goal percentage has been inconsistent but showed promise in their last game with a strong 64 percent showing. Defensively, there's work to be done as they've allowed over one point per possession in each game analyzed.

As we turn our attention towards the upcoming clash with Brooklyn Nets, it is crucial for Toronto to maintain its offensive momentum while tightening up defensively if they wish to come out on top. Playing at home should give them an edge – not just from familiar surroundings but also from the energy that only Raptors fans can bring.
