Can the Toronto Raptors Claw Back Against the Charlotte Hornets at Scotiabank Arena?

As the Toronto Raptors prepare to host the Charlotte Hornets at Scotiabank Arena, fans are eager to see if their team can turn around a challenging season. The Raptors have been struggling with consistency, as evidenced by their recent performances. In their last game against the Indiana Pacers, despite a high-scoring affair that ended in a narrow 127-125 loss, they showed signs of offensive prowess with an impressive 61 percent shooting from two-point range and a dominant 84 points in the paint.

However, defensive woes continue to plague Toronto. They allowed 127 points against Indiana and have been on a losing streak that has seen them drop games against formidable opponents like the San Antonio Spurs and Cleveland Cavaliers. Their defensive rating has suffered as a result, with recent games showing them allowing an average of over one point per possession.

On offense, while they've demonstrated an ability to score inside effectively, their three-point shooting has been lackluster. Shooting only 23 percent from beyond the arc against Indiana is something they'll need to improve upon if they want to keep pace with teams that can stretch the floor.

The upcoming match presents an opportunity for redemption on home turf where fan support could provide an extra boost. The Raptors will need to tighten up defensively and find more consistency from their shooters if they hope to secure a win.

Fans can catch this pivotal game on March 3rd at 6:00 PM Eastern Time at Scotiabank Arena or tune into SportsNet for international coverage or BSSE channel 649 for away coverage.
