The Raptors struggled to keep pace with the Pelicans' high-powered offense throughout the game. The home team's efforts were not enough to overcome their opponent's dominant performance at Scotiabank Arena. Despite their best efforts, which included scoring 22 fast break points and drawing 19 fouls, they could not close the significant gap established by New Orleans.

The Pelicans showcased an impressive offensive display with a field goal percentage of 50 percent and an even more remarkable three-point shooting percentage at 49 percent. Their efficiency on offense was evident as they scored 56 points in paint and added another 27 from fast breaks. With such a potent attack, they managed to maintain control for nearly all of the game.

Toronto's offensive output was less effective compared to their opponents'. They shot only 39 percent from field goals and were less successful from beyond the arc with just a 30 percent three-point shooting rate. Even though they had seven blocks and six steals defensively, it wasn't enough to slow down New Orleans' momentum.

One bright spot for Toronto was their bench contribution which accounted for 32 points of their total score. However, this paled in comparison to New Orleans' bench that poured in an overwhelming 73 points.
