Analyzing their past performances reveals a team with fluctuating fortunes. In their most recent game against the Washington Wizards, they narrowly lost with a score of 109-112. The Raptors demonstrated an ability to lead for significant stretches—over 30 minutes—but ultimately couldn't close out the game. Their shooting from beyond the arc was lackluster at 24 percent, but they excelled in points in paint with an impressive 60 points.

The previous encounter saw them fall to Oklahoma City Thunder by a score of 103-123. Despite this loss, there were positive takeaways; notably, their field goal percentage stood strong at 53 percent and they managed to convert on fast break opportunities with a success rate of 67 percent.

However, it's impossible to overlook their defeat by Sacramento Kings where they scored only 89 points compared to Kings' commanding total of 123. This game highlighted areas for improvement as turnovers plagued them and defensive lapses allowed too many points in paint (68) against them.

Heading into this upcoming contest on April 3rd at Target Center—a venue known for its energetic atmosphere—the Raptors need to tighten up defensively while capitalizing on fast breaks and maintaining efficiency from close range if they wish to overcome Minnesota's challenge.
