In their most recent matchup, the Philadelphia 76ers outscored them 135-120. Despite an impressive offensive rating of 115.6 and shooting 52 percent from the field, defensive woes allowed too many points in paint (62) and fast-break points (27), leading to a -15 plus-minus.

The game before that saw an even wider margin as they fell to the New York Knicks with a staggering score of 145-101. The Knicks' offensive onslaught was relentless, leaving Toronto trailing without ever taking the lead. A dismal defensive performance resulted in a -44 plus-minus for Toronto.

Looking further back, we find another loss against Brooklyn Nets where Toronto scored only 88 points compared to Nets' 96. While they managed to keep it closer defensively with a defensive rating of just over 103, their offense couldn't capitalize on opportunities which led to an eight-point deficit by game's end.

The upcoming game presents an opportunity for redemption as they host Washington Wizards at Scotiabank Arena. Fans can expect intense action as both teams vie for victory; however, it's crucial for Toronto to tighten up defensively while maintaining their offensive efficiency if they wish to emerge victorious.

The Raptors will need strong performances across the board and must leverage home-court advantage effectively this time around. With strategic adjustments and solid execution on both ends of the court, there's potential for them to break this losing streak and delight fans with a win.

Catch all the action live on MNMT2 TV network or head down to Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on April 7th at 6:00 PM Eastern Time Zone (ET) when these two teams clash once again.
