Raptors and Grizzlies Engage in High-Scoring Affair at FedExForum

In a game that saw the Toronto Raptors fall to the Memphis Grizzlies with a final score of 126-155, both teams displayed remarkable offensive efforts. The Raptors, now standing at 7-24 for the season, faced off against a strong Grizzlies team with a record of 21-10. Despite their best efforts and high-scoring quarters, the Raptors could not secure a win at FedExForum.

Raptors' Offensive Highlights


The Toronto Raptors showcased their offensive capabilities throughout the game, with notable performances from several players. RJ Barrett led the team in scoring with an impressive 27 points, closely followed by Scottie Barnes who contributed significantly with 26 points and eight assists. Barrett's near triple-double performance also included nine rebounds and ten assists, highlighting his all-around contribution to the game.


Kelly Olynyk added another layer of depth to the Raptors' offense by scoring 14 points alongside five assists and five rebounds. Chris Boucher also made his presence felt by adding 15 points to the scoreboard. The team's overall effort was evident in their total of 39 assists, showcasing their ability to work together seamlessly on offense.


Grizzlies' Dominant Performance


On the other side of the court, the Memphis Grizzlies demonstrated why they are one of the top teams this season. Their balanced attack was led by an efficient shooting night that resulted in a total score of 155 points. The Grizzlies capitalized on second-chance opportunities by scoring 33 second-chance points and dominated inside with a total of 72 points in paint.


Their defensive efforts were equally impressive as they managed to block eight shots while stealing possession from Toronto eight times as well. This comprehensive performance allowed them to maintain control throughout most of the game.
