The Washington Wizards faced challenges in finding their rhythm against a stout Raptors defense. Despite pulling down more rebounds (57) than their opponents (45), they struggled with ball security which led to them turning over possession twenty-seven times. Kyle Kuzma tried to spark some offense but found little success against Toronto's defense which limited Washington to shooting just 39 percent from field goals and a mere seventeen percent from beyond the arc.
