Did the Raptors' Bench Outshine the Celtics Despite the Loss?

First Quarter


The opening quarter saw both teams testing each other's defenses. The Celtics took an early lead, scoring 34 points compared to the Raptors' 26. Brandon Ingram was instrumental for Toronto, contributing significantly with his offensive prowess.


Second Quarter


In the second quarter, Boston extended their lead by adding another 43 points while Toronto managed to put up 33 points on the board. Scottie Barnes showcased his versatility by notching up assists and rebounds alongside his scoring efforts.


Third Quarter


Toronto rallied in the third quarter, narrowing Boston's lead by outscoring them with a total of 32 points against Boston’s 20. Sandro Mamukelashvili made notable contributions from off the bench, providing crucial support in both defense and offense.


Fourth Quarter


Despite their efforts in closing quarters, including impressive plays from Ja'Kobe Walter who added depth to their fast breaks and defensive plays, Toronto couldn't close out on top as they scored only 22 points compared to Boston’s final push of 24 points.


Throughout this encounter between two formidable teams, several key moments defined its course. The Raptors’ bench players were pivotal; however, it wasn't enough against a well-rounded performance from 'the Green Machine'. Notably, Brandon Ingram led all scorers for Jurassic Park with an impressive tally of points that kept them competitive throughout.
