Clash at Delta Center: Utah Jazz to Host Memphis Grizzlies in Salt Lake City

The Jazz's last outing at Vivint Arena on October 30th against these very same Grizzlies was nothing short of a nail-biter, ending in a slim one-point victory for Utah with a final score of 124-123. This win was characterized by an impressive offensive display, with the team shooting over 51 percent from the field and an exceptional 43 percent from beyond the arc. The bench contributed significantly, adding 31 points to the tally and showcasing depth that could prove vital in their next matchup.

However, it wasn't just their shooting that saw them through; it was also their ability to draw fouls and capitalize on free throws, hitting them at a rate of 75 percent. Moreover, their ball distribution was noteworthy as they racked up 30 assists compared to only 20 turnovers – demonstrating fluidity and cohesion in playmaking that will be essential when facing Memphis again.

On defense, there's room for improvement for UJ as they allowed MEM to shoot over half their attempts successfully from both two-point range (62 percent) and three-point range (44 percent). This defensive lapse nearly cost them dearly had it not been for clutch plays down the stretch.

Looking at MEM's performance during that game reveals they are no pushovers; boasting efficient scoring inside with an impressive paint presence where they scored 70 points. Their fast break execution was lethal too, converting opportunities at a high rate which kept them neck-and-neck throughout.

In contrast, UTA’s previous game before facing MEM showed some weaknesses when they lost against Denver Nuggets with a scoreline reflecting defensive shortcomings as they allowed DEN to put up117 points. However, this loss should serve as motivation rather than discouragement; highlighting areas such as perimeter defense where improvement can turn close games into comfortable wins.

With all eyes now turning towards November's clash between these two formidable opponents at Delta Center – fans can expect another intense showdown. Both teams have demonstrated offensive prowess but if UTA can tighten up defensively while maintaining their scoring efficiency seen in recent games – particularly from downtown – there’s every reason for optimism among Jazz supporters.

The scheduled tip-off is set for November 1st at Delta Center located in Salt Lake City UT zip code area of84101. Fans eager not miss any action can catch live coverage provided by SportsNet RM channel683 or BSSE channel649 depending on locale preferences.
