In front of a packed house at the Delta Center, the Jazz orchestrated an impressive performance on their home court. They were particularly dominant from the charity stripe, converting 32 out of 35 free throws which translated to an outstanding 91 percent success rate. The team's efficiency was also evident in their three-point shooting; they hit half of their attempts from beyond the arc.

Utah's bench made significant contributions with a total of 61 bench points, showcasing depth and versatility. The team's ability to capitalize on turnovers was another key factor in their win; they scored an impressive 32 points off turnovers compared to the Pistons' 18.

Defensively, Utah managed eight blocks and claimed eleven steals over the course of play. This defensive hustle contributed to them leading for just over nine minutes throughout this closely contested matchup.

The Pistons were not without merit; they shot well from both field goal range (53 percent) and three-point land (46 percent). Their efforts inside were notable as well with them scoring 62 points in paint areas against Utah's slightly superior tally of 68 paint points.
