At Madison Square Garden, the Utah Jazz were unable to secure victory despite putting up an impressive offensive performance. The team's scoring was consistent throughout the match with 22 points in the first quarter and increasing tallies in each subsequent period, culminating with 30 points in the final quarter. However, their efforts fell short as they trailed behind their opponents' more dominant scoring.

The Jazz's efficiency on offense was evident with an effective field goal percentage of 52 and a true shooting percentage of 55. They managed to convert over half their two-point attempts at a rate of 54 percent and scored half their second-chance opportunities resulting in 19 points. From beyond the arc, they hit twelve three-pointers at a rate of thirty-three percent.

On defense though, challenges were apparent for Utah as they allowed New York to capitalize on fast break opportunities by conceding twenty-four fast break points and struggled to contain them inside the paint where they gave up sixty-two points. The defensive rating for Utah stood at an unfavorable number compared to their offensive output.

Key players from Utah contributed significantly; however it wasn't enough to overcome New York's momentum which saw them leading for nearly forty minutes of game time and achieving their largest lead at twenty-five points. The bench provided solid support adding thirty-six points but turnovers proved costly for Utah as they lost possession fifteen times which translated into eight points off turnovers for New York.

Looking ahead after this tough outing on court, fans can catch the next game featuring Utah Jazz against Philadelphia 76ers scheduled on February 1st at Delta Center located in Salt Lake City. This upcoming encounter will be broadcasted nationally on TNT channel number two hundred forty-five and regionally on NBCS-PH ensuring fans won't miss any action regardless of location.
