In front of their home crowd at Delta Center, the Utah Jazz showcased an impressive offensive performance against the visiting Atlanta Hawks. The team's field goal percentage stood at an efficient 51 percent, as they managed to sink 46 out of their 90 attempts. From beyond the arc, they hit 14 three-pointers on a solid shooting night that saw them convert 39 percent from deep. The free throw line was also kind to the Jazz, where they capitalized on their opportunities by making an outstanding 90 percent of their shots.

The battle under the basket was fiercely contested; however, it was here that Utah demonstrated superior control. They outrebounded Atlanta by securing a total of 53 rebounds – with ten coming offensively and contributing to second-chance points. Their efforts in paint were particularly noteworthy as they scored more than half their points (56) in this area alone.

Defensively, Utah also made its presence felt by blocking seven shots and stealing possession six times from Atlanta. These defensive stops were crucial in maintaining their lead throughout most of the game – for nearly thirty-eight minutes – and ultimately played a significant role in securing victory.

On offense for Atlanta, efficiency was key as well; they shot at an effective field goal percentage rate of 55 percent and matched Utah's scoring inside with thirty-four points in paint themselves. Their bench contributed significantly with thirty-eight points but fell just short against Utah's forty-three bench points.
