In their latest game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, despite a strong showing in points from turnovers and second-chance points, the Jazz fell short with a 19-point deficit. Their shooting from beyond the arc was notably lackluster at 23 percent, which they will need to address before facing the Spurs.

However, in their preceding game against Atlanta Hawks, Utah demonstrated resilience by securing a narrow two-point victory. Their fast break efficiency stood out with 69 percent success rate contributing to 24 fast break points. Additionally, they excelled at free throw accuracy hitting an impressive 90 percent of their shots from the line.

Against one of the top teams in Boston Celtics earlier on, Utah showed they could put up significant numbers even when faced with tough opposition. Although they lost by 16 points to Boston's high-powered offense, they managed to maintain a solid field goal percentage at 48 percent and were competitive in paint scoring.

The upcoming game against San Antonio presents an opportunity for Utah to capitalize on home court advantage and refine aspects like three-point shooting and defensive consistency. With recent fluctuations in performance metrics such as efficiency game score and assist-to-turnover ratio indicating room for growth; focusing on these areas could be key for success.
