First Quarter

The opening quarter saw the Jazz struggling to find their footing, scoring only 21 points compared to the Rockets' 30. Lauri Markkanen attempted to lead his team with his versatile play but found it difficult against Houston's strong defense. The Jazz's shooting accuracy was below par, hitting just 44 percent of their field goals.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, Kyle Filipowski made notable contributions with his rebounding efforts and assists. Despite this, Utah couldn't close the gap as they trailed by a significant margin at halftime. The Rockets capitalized on fast breaks and maintained their momentum with efficient shooting from beyond the arc.

Third Quarter

The third quarter continued in favor of H-Town as they extended their lead further. Isaiah Collier tried to spark some energy into Utah’s offense but faced tough opposition from Red Nation's defensive setup. The Jazz managed only 20 points during this period while allowing Houston another high-scoring quarter.

Fourth Quarter

In an attempt for a comeback during the final stretch, Ace Bailey showed flashes of brilliance by scoring crucial points for Utah. However, it wasn't enough as Alperen Sengun led his team with impressive plays that kept Houston comfortably ahead until the buzzer sounded.
