First Quarter

The opening quarter saw the Nuggets take an early lead, scoring 40 points compared to the Jazz's 15. The home team capitalized on their fast break opportunities and maintained a high shooting percentage. Despite this, Lauri Markkanen of the Jazz showed promise with his consistent scoring ability.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, Utah began to find their rhythm offensively. Keyonte George contributed significantly with his playmaking skills, adding seven assists by halftime. However, Denver continued to dominate with efficient shooting from beyond the arc and went into halftime leading by a comfortable margin.

Third Quarter

The third quarter was pivotal for Utah as they mounted an impressive comeback attempt by outscoring Denver 38-34 in this period. Jusuf Nurkić was instrumental during this stretch, recording a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds overall. This surge highlighted what could be possible if they maintain such intensity throughout future games.

Fourth Quarter

Despite their efforts in the third quarter, Utah couldn't sustain their momentum into the fourth as Denver regained control of the game flow. The Nugs' bench depth proved too much for Utah's defense to handle as they sealed their victory comfortably.

This matchup provided valuable insights into both teams' strengths and areas needing improvement.
