First Quarter

The opening quarter saw the Jazz taking an early lead with their aggressive play inside the paint. Lauri Markkanen was instrumental, contributing significantly to Utah's 29 points in this period. The Warriors trailed closely behind with 25 points, showcasing their perimeter shooting prowess.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, both teams intensified their offensive efforts. The Jazz managed to extend their lead slightly by scoring 36 points, thanks largely to Keyonte George's effective ball distribution and scoring ability. However, Golden State kept pace by adding another 33 points through efficient three-point shooting from their backcourt duo.

Third Quarter

The third quarter proved pivotal as the Dubs unleashed a barrage of three-pointers that shifted momentum in their favor. Scoring an impressive 42 points during this period alone, they overtook Utah despite Markkanen’s continued dominance under the basket and Isaiah Collier’s defensive contributions.

Fourth Quarter

Entering the final stretch with a narrow deficit, Utah struggled to regain control as fatigue set in. Their offense slowed down significantly, managing only 18 points compared to Golden State’s steady output of 23 points which sealed their victory.

Despite falling short on this occasion, several key moments highlighted potential areas for growth within Utah's lineup. Notably absent was Kevin Love due to rest management; his presence might have bolstered defensive rebounds against such formidable opposition like Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson who led game-changing plays for Golden State throughout all quarters.

Looking ahead at upcoming fixtures: On January 5th at Moda Center located in Portland OR., fans can catch live coverage when Jazz takes on Portland Trail Blazers broadcasted via KUNP TV or streamed online through platforms including KJZZ & Jazz+.
