First Quarter

The opening quarter saw the Pacers take an early lead, scoring 32 points compared to the Jazz's 25. The home team capitalized on fast breaks and efficient shooting from beyond the arc. However, despite trailing, Utah managed to keep within striking distance thanks to Lauri Markkanen's consistent scoring.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, both teams displayed strong defensive efforts. The Jazz tightened their defense and outscored Indiana by a margin of 31-24. Kyle Filipowski was instrumental during this period with his rebounding skills and defensive presence in the paint.

Third Quarter

The third quarter marked a turning point for Utah as they unleashed an offensive barrage that netted them 40 points. Isaiah Collier orchestrated game-changing plays for Utah Jazz vs Indiana Pacers with his playmaking ability, contributing significantly with assists that set up open shots for his teammates.

Fourth Quarter

Heading into the final quarter with momentum on their side, Utah maintained control by adding another 35 points while limiting Indiana to just one more point than they scored in each of their previous quarters at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Ace Bailey’s defensive hustle was crucial as he recorded multiple steals that disrupted Indiana’s rhythm.

Despite several lead changes throughout this intense matchup, it was ultimately what went wrong for Utah Jazz earlier in maintaining consistency that nearly cost them before they found stability late in proceedings.

Fans can look forward to seeing how these performances translate when they face off against Atlanta Hawks next at State Farm Arena on February 5th at 7:30 PM EDT. Catch all action live via FDSSE or KJZZ networks or stream online through Jazz+.
