Can the Wizards Harness Home Advantage Against the Hawks at Capital One Arena?

As the Washington Wizards prepare to face off against the Atlanta Hawks, fans are eager to see if their team can capitalize on playing at home in the Capital One Arena. The Wizards have had a challenging season, but recent games show signs of potential that could turn into performance.

In their last outing against the Brooklyn Nets, Washington emerged victorious with a score of 110-104. This win was fueled by an impressive three-point shooting percentage of 40 percent and a solid two-point field goal percentage of 58 percent. Their offensive prowess was on display as they led for over 20 minutes and outscored their bench points by five compared to Brooklyn's.

However, consistency has been an issue for the Wizards this season. In a previous game against Toronto Raptors, they fell short with a score of 102-132. Despite shooting well from inside the arc at 60 percent, their three-point struggles were evident with only a 24 percent success rate from downtown.

Against Orlando Magic, Washington put up a good fight but ultimately lost with a final score of 119-127. They showed strength in fast break situations scoring 23 points and matched Orlando's rebounding efforts with each team grabbing fifty boards.

The upcoming game presents an opportunity for Washington to build on these performances and leverage home-court advantage. The key will be maintaining strong shooting percentages while tightening up defensively to contain Atlanta's offense.

Fans can catch all the action live on December 31st at Capital One Arena or tune into MNMT channel 642 for coverage starting at local Eastern Time zone hours.
