Air Force Falcons Set to Battle Utah State Aggies at Merlin Olsen Field in Football Showdown

As the Air Force Falcons prepare to take on the Utah State Aggies at Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium, fans are eager for what promises to be a thrilling football encounter. The Falcons, coming off a dominant 28-0 victory over the New Mexico Lobos on November 21st, are looking to continue their winning ways.

The previous game showcased the Falcons' formidable ground attack, which amassed an impressive 356 rushing yards and four touchdowns. With an average of nearly six yards per carry and a possession time of over 36 minutes, it's clear that Air Force's strategy is to control the clock and wear down defenses with their relentless running game. Their defense also stepped up by not allowing any points and securing two sacks along with one interception.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing for AF in recent weeks. In their October 31st clash against Boise State Broncos, despite racking up an even more remarkable 415 rushing yards and maintaining possession for over 37 minutes, they fell short in scoring defense allowing 49 points resulting in a loss with a score of 30-49. This shows that while their offense can be explosive on the ground, there is room for improvement defensively against teams that have potent offensive capabilities like Boise State.

Moreover, when facing San Jose State Spartans on October 25th where they lost with only six points scored against Spartans' seventeen points; it was evident that turnovers can cripple even the most disciplined teams – AF had two fumbles lost during this game which could have been critical drives leading towards scoring opportunities.

Against Utah State Aggies who will have home-field advantage this time around; it will be crucial for AF not only to maintain their offensive prowess but also tighten up defensively if they wish to secure another win. The Aggies will undoubtedly look to exploit any weaknesses shown by AF's defense in past games while trying to contain their powerful running game.

With kickoff scheduled for December 4th at half-past eight PM local time (02:30 AM GMT), fans should expect nothing less than full commitment from both sides as they battle it out under Logan skies. For those unable to attend in person at Maverik Stadium or simply prefer watching from home comfort – CBS Sports Network via satellite channel number two hundred twenty-one will broadcast this anticipated matchup live ensuring no one misses out on action-packed football evening!
