At Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, the Alabama Crimson Tide showcased an offensive clinic against the Ole Miss Rebels. The offense amassed a staggering total of 717 yards with an average gain of nearly ten yards per play. The ground game was particularly lethal as Alabama rushed for 306 yards and seven touchdowns, including a notable longest rush touchdown of 39 yards. Their passing game was equally impressive; quarterback play led to two touchdowns and an exceptional completion percentage of nearly ninety percent for a total passing yardage of 417.

The defense contributed to this comprehensive performance by securing two sacks and preventing any interceptions thrown by their own quarterback. Special teams played their part too; although they only punted once for forty yards, they ensured that kickoffs consistently put pressure on the Rebels' return game.

Penalties were kept under control with only eight infractions costing them seventy-six yards. This disciplined approach complemented their efficiency on third down conversions where they succeeded over eighty-five percent of the time.

The Rebels fought valiantly but could not match the intensity brought by Alabama's team. Despite scoring forty-eight points themselves, it was not enough to challenge the relentless tide from Alabama.

Looking ahead, fans can anticipate another exciting home game as the Alabama Crimson Tide will host Georgia Bulldogs at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa on October 18th at prime time under stadium lights. This upcoming contest will be broadcasted live on CBS for fans to follow what promises to be another showcase event in college football this season.
